Condolence

In the wake of the recent earth quake in Tibet and on behalf of all the monks of Sera Jey Monastery in particular and all the Tibetans at Bylakuppe settlement in general Sera Jhe Health Care Committee extends its sincerest condolences and prayers to the people who lost their lives and those affected by it.

Tuberculosis Awareness Programme

On 1st April 2010 Sera Jhe Health Care Committee held an awareness programme on Tuberculosis for general monks of Sera Jhe Monastic University. The Committee has played a major role in combating tuberculosis in Sera Jhe Monastery which consists of more 4500 monks for the last two decades. It regularly conduct health talks as awareness among the members of the community is the primary & the best way to combat any disease.
