FREE HEALTH CAMP AT BODHGAYA, BIHAR JANUARY 2010

During the teachings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama at Bodh Gaya in January 2010, Sera Jhe Health Care Committee in collaboration with Tsi Bai Lin Buddhist institute of Taiwan held a successful free health camp inside the complex of Mahabodhi Society of India, Bodh Gaya, Bihar, India from 3rd to 10th January 2010. With the experience of holding such camps in the past, the committee chose this particular site due to its vicinity to the gathering points of the devotees so that its service could reach to as much pilgrims as possible.

Apart from allopathic medication it also provided dental care, acupuncture, massaging and Chinese herbal medication. Seven doctors and 15 members of the committee provided its services to more than 6000 patients in eight days.

The camp was well received and appreciated by the public which encouraged the committee to organize such camps in the future also.

Sera Jhe Health Care Committee wishes to express its heartfelt gratitude to all the sponsors and well-wishers who supported this camp. We owe our success in this endeavor to the financial assistance extended by them. Without which this humanitarian service could not have been possible.
