From 5th to 9th Jan 2010 His Holiness the Dalai Lama will confer teachings on 'Gonpo Ludup's Jigten le dhe par toepa', ' Tsongkhapa’s Short version of the stages of the path to enlightenment (lamrim dhuedhon)', 'Longchen Rinpoche’s Mind in comfort and ease (semnyid nyelso)' and 'Atisha’s Lamp of the path to enlightenment (jangchup lamdron)' from 5 to 9 January. It will be followed by conferment of Long Life Empowerment and a long life prayer will be offered to His Holiness.
In an effort to make a difference in our community service, Sera Jhe Health Care Committee is organizing a free health clinic from 3rd January to 10th January 2010 to provide free health service to thousands of devotees during the teachings. This camp will benefit all the devotees irrespective of caste, creed, religion, gender or nationality.
We have successfully organized such events during Kala Chakra Initiation at Amarvati, Andhra Pradesh in 2006 and also during His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s teaching at Sarnath, Varanasi in 2009.
