Dental Clinic-Sera Jhe Health Care Committee
SJHCC dental clinic has been in existence since 1995. It is headed by our dental therapist, Geshe Dhundup Gyaltsen la with more than 16 years' experience in the field and he is assisted by a well trained staff, Ven. Thupten Choephel. The clinic also has a dental Lab Technician (Ven. Lham Tashi) who has undergone training in Complete Denture and RPD at the Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences, Virajpet, Karnataka.
The services provided are orthocare, ceramic capping, bridge, complete denture and RPD. The clinic charges only 25% fee of market rate. This covers only its running costs. Due to the high cost of dental care many poor patients cannot afford the services. As a part of our charitable activities, Sera Jhe Health Care Committee provides its services to as many patients as it could reach to. The clinic provides its service to all patients irrespective of caste, creed, religion and nationality.
We are happy to announce that specialist in Implantology, Dr. Dadul, an Ex student of upper TCV, Dharamsala has graciously accepted to provide free service to our dental clinic. For the past one year he has been travelling from Chennai at his own cost to our clinic so that his professional service could benefit as much patients as possible with a minimum cost.
We very much appreciate his personal visit and services to the committee. The demonstration of humanitarian support by him is very special. It is a classic example for other young Tibetan professionals to serve and give a part of their knowledge to their own community.

We also wish to deeply thank Dr. Renate Warnecke from Germany for her continued financial assistance. The very existence of the clinic is because of her unrelenting support for the past many years.
